Kunming
Four seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter)
Annual Temperature 15’C
It is called the “Spring City”
Temperature between day and night varies from
12C to 20C.
May to October is a rainy season.
From March to October, Kunming held events like the Knife-pole Festival of Lisu in March, the Water-splashing Festival of Dai in April, and a Torch Festival
Highest temperature in Kunming during our trip is 16~18C
Lowest temperature in Kunming during our trip is 6~8C
Places of Interest: Western Hills, Lake Dian, Bamboo Temple, Ancient Mosque, and the Golden Temple. Just outside of Kunming, are the Stone Forest and the town of Dali
Sports played in Kunming: basketball, volleyball, judo, fencing, and martial arts
Famous food in Kunming: Steam Potted Chicken, Over the Bridge Rice Noodles, Er Kuai (Rice Cakes), Smoked Smelly Bean Curd, The Eight Treasures of Yunnan.
The Kunming people are content with their lives, and are not of a competitive nature. The tempo of life in Kunming is leisurely. The tempo of life in Kunming is like that of a film montage - diverse but advancing. It is therefore a good place to live -- one where fortunes can be made in an atmosphere of leisure and contentment.
